Zig Zag Foundation Charity Ball 2009

King Furniture lends the Zig Zag Foundation a hand to fundraise for children’s charities across Australia.

In June this year, King Furniture donated a gift voucher towards a silent auction at the Zig Zag Foundation’s Charity Ball. The ball helped raise much needed funds for a range of registered children’s charities. 

Guests at the silent auction were inspired to bid for the gift voucher by our stylish Concerto sofa on display at the event. The gift voucher could be put towards anything from the King Furniture collection.

The ball was host to over 800 guests who were eager to donate to a great cause. Over $200,000 was raised that evening thanks to the Zig Zag Foundation’s great efforts!

Based in Brisbane, the Zig Zag Foundation raises money for registered local and national charities through a series of fundraising events held each year. The funds collected are used to help enhance the lives of sick, at risk or underprivileged children aged 0-18 years by allowing their specific special needs to be met.
