Ronald McDonald House recently visited our Northmead King
Furniture Showroom for the purchase of a much needed sofa.
With 12 houses open across Australia, Ronald McDonald House
continues to provide a home-away-from-home for children with
a serious illness and their families. The sofa had to be a certain
size and shape to accommodate families and allow wheelchair
access. And of course it had to be easy to clean. King Furniture
Northmead Manager, Triana Odone, was absolutely inspired by
the services Ronald McDonald House offers to Australian families
that she arranged with King Furniture management to donate the
sofas to the House. Two Delta II "Package 5" settings in the double
thick Viva leather, to the value of around $10,000, were specially
crafted and donated to Ronald McDonald House.
Ronald McDonald House’s General Manager, Adrienne Pearson
said, “King Furniture immediately offered to go over to the House
to see and measure the room for themselves to help us with the
most suitable solution. We are absolutely thrilled with King Furniture
– and the families at the House absolutely love the new Delta II.
