15 YEAR STEEL FRAME WARRANTY PLUS

Welcome to the King Furniture Warranty Plus program which has been designed to ensure you are provided with
the best possible protection for your new furniture.

Unlike ordinary furniture, King Furniture is manufactured without staples. The removable cover system enables for
the easier replacement of components allowing King Furniture to outlast and out perform ordinary furniture.

Our aim is to ensure your furniture stays looking great into the future, and, in the unlikely event a problem may arise,
it will be dealt with appropriately and with a minimum of inconvenience to you.

THE WARRANTY
Purchases of products manufactured by King Furniture after the first of January 2007 will be covered against
component failure for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase under the following terms and conditions:

The steel frame used in each piece of King Furniture is warranted against failure due to a manufacturing fault for a period
of 15 years from the date of purchase. Other components including, King Leathers**, King Fabrics**, foam, feather and fibre fillings,
suspension, springs, mechanisms including sofa bed mechanisms, zippers, touch fasteners, and legs are warranted against failure
due to a manufacturing defect for a period of fifteen years according to the Pro Rata Schedule provided in this brochure.

Fabrics, leathers, suspension components, cushionings and fillings will show signs of wear and tear with use.
Wear and tear is not included in this warranty. Fabrics and leathers will fade and crease. Foam and fillings will soften and form
to the shape of the user over time. Depending on the covering and the degree of use, the covering materials, cushion fillings
and suspension may need to be replaced periodically at the purchaser’s expense. Scars, marks and differing pore density
and colour are natural characteristics of leather and not to be considered defects.

Any repair or replacement under this warranty is limited to the defective part only. Freight, house calls, labour and other items
are charged to the purchaser at standard King Furniture rates and are not included in this warranty.
Covering components replaced under this warranty may vary in colour and texture to the orginal.

This guarantee is in addition to any rights a consumer may have under the Trade Practices Act and similar legislation
in the relevant jurisdiction. Any paragraph of this warranty which is unenforceable or void is to be severed and the rest
of this guarantee will remain in force.

This warranty will end immediately if the furniture becomes defective as a consequence of misuse,
lack of proper care and maintenence, commercial use or handling in transit.

King Furniture reserves the right to determine whether a part has failed due to a defect or wear and tear.
Any item requiring replacement due to wear and tear will be at the Purchaser’s expense.
King Furniture reserves the right to decide whether a component should be repaired or replaced.
King Furniture Customer service must be notified of any defect within 14 days of the defect occurring.

To benefit under this guarantee, the purchaser must forward to King Furniture a properly completed
guarantee registration card supplied within 14 days of purchase.

*Percentage of retail replacement cost. e.g. Replacement of a defective $100 part during year 3 would cost $25.
House calls and transport costs are charged to the purchaser at Standard King Furniture rates.

** Warranty is limited to King Leathers and fabrics only. Fabrics supplied by outside wholesalers and customer’s own fabrics
are not included in this warranty. Fabrics and leathers supplied by other wholesalers may be covered by the supplier’s own warranties.

This guarantee applies to the original purchaser only who may not assign or transfer any benefit conferred by this guarantee.
For the purposes of any protection from King Furniture, all subsequent purchases acquire the furniture “as is”.

Disclaimer of all other warranties and obligations: This warranty and King Furniture’s obligations thereunder is in lieu of
all other warranties whether expressed or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties or mechantability
and fitness for a particular purpose, as well as all other representations made to the original purchaser.
