King Furniture Stars on New TV Show

King Furniture has once again earned itself a starring role… this time, in a new TV series to be aired on the W network from 25 August at 7.30pm. The set of the fresh series Spirited will be the host to some of King Furniture’s finest pieces, which will be featured throughout the entire series.

Claudia Karvan will be starring in the show. The AFI award-winning actress will also be producing with John Edwards and Jacquelin Perske, the same team behind the critically acclaimed series Love My Way.

Spirited is a blackly funny exploration of love, death and life seen through the lives of a group of people who are extreme, complicated and unique. The intriguing program combines romance, comedy and drama in a way that has never been captured in Australian television.

Karvan plays Suzy Payne, a newly single mum, who moves into an apartment with a British rock star who… also happens to be dead! Trying to settle into single life with two children, a sabotaging ex husband and a therapist as a sister, Suzy somehow finds her relationship with her ghost to be the most comforting. Henry is eternally optimistic, funny and dry as an old bone. Henry and Suzy are poles apart - thrown together by fate and circumstance.

King Furniture is very excited about its upcoming performance, and talk of an award nomination has already begun! Look out for the superstar Ottoman, and the icon Astro chair. They will be starring alongside the leading lady, Suzy, in her apartment. Be sure to relax on your sofa and watch as King steals the spotlight!
